Dear iMig 2025 participant and fellow mesothelioma researcher,

You are cordially invited to join likeminded investigators from around the globe in the most exciting initiative of the upcoming iMig 2025 conference – creation of an internationally collaborative research project generated by the iMig collective. Everyone is invited to participate in this exciting first-of-its kind project. Many of the most established mesothelioma investigators from around the world have already agreed to be part of this effort and we welcome and value the insight and input from anyone with the desire to contribute. The logistics are as follows:

• Monthly brainstorming/planning sessions will be held on Zoom, starting on Thursday, March 13th and held the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 AM EST
• Once the iMig conference starts, we have dedicated a hour session for the first two mornings, for the participants to meet in person and to firm up the project details resulting from the preconference Zoom meetings
• The final plenary session of iMig will be the Keynote address by Dr. Stephen Hahn, reflecting on how teamwork allowed delivery of the COIVD vaccine in record time when he was the FDA Commissioner, followed by the presentation of the international collaborative project that you helped create.

We are beyond excited about the potential for this initiative, not only as an opportunity to create a research path that has potential to change the trajectory of this terrible cancer, but also for this project to serve as a model for how diverse investigators from the around the world can work together to attack the most dangerous threats our patients face. Right now, this project is a “blank slate;” we desperately want your ideas and perspectives to help shape this noble effort.
